Cinematic Moment: "CM Illustrated Week" Postcard #7I was standing outside a bodega underneath my apartment on 96th when I decided I didn't want to work for someone else anymore. I wanted to be able to travel, to go back to school, to write, to learn another language. That was the day I made the decision in my mind to quit my job and freelance. I had no idea where I'd end up or what I truly wanted to do. It was terrifying and invigorating. All I knew was when I sketched this, I felt my life was more wide open to possibility than ever before.

I'm glad you enjoyed the funny stuff I figured you'd appreciate it or think I was a weirdo. :) There was one a link I meant to leave you earlier , but forgot to...
www.engrish.com
You may want to put on an adult diaper before you check this out because I have literally laughed so hard I peed my pants when reading this site.
In that "nasty boy" video the best/saddest part is when the guy in the thong is humping the air and rubbing his junk all over the railing. lmao sooo gross.
This sketch may be super simple, but when I read the explanation I was like, "You go girl!"
and yeah, thats nerdish of me, but whatevvvvv.
I stumbled across your blog in a kind of obvious way, and I love your writing style. I hope it's okay to ominously watch this blog.
Thanks Randi. Of course you're welcome to the family!
Nerf--Engrish is one of my fave sites. Have you heard Dave Sedaris "when you are engulfed in flames"? He has a whole disk on Japanese translations from his time there. Pretty damn funny.
Dee-How are holding up? I keep meaning to ask you that. xo
Chonny....thanks for asking... :)
Im doing shitty. lol..if this were my blog, Id take it upon myself to leave a huge long comment about the hell known as 'my husband' but since its not my blog Im just going to leave it at: "Im super stressed and my hair is fallin gout in clumps."
And for the record, I understand why those divorce party people make cakes with the groom laying at the bottom covered in gooey frosting blood.
I loved this blog. An "Open" sign is so plain and simple, and yet, that one word can mean such a huge life change.
I wish I had the skillz to pay the billz working freelance doing anything... or to even get a job that would mean anything to me at all.
I'm loving the little illustrated posts thing.
